We are looking for a Procurement and Logistics Operator for Trafikverket in Kumla.

This is a consulting assignment.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role of the operator involves working operationally in the production chain and completing long rails at the welding line in Trafikverket's facility in Kumla. The consultants work in shifts and ensure that production meets promised delivery times and that materials are handled according to orders. The role requires a high level of safety awareness, adherence to regulations, and may involve shift work and travel. The work is physically demanding and takes place in an outdoor environment.

Responsibilities

Produce long rails according to promised delivery times

Warehouse manage technically approved materials according to promised delivery times

Those with security service must perform shunting and locomotive driving on sidings

Implement measures decided by and in collaboration with the responsible manager

Perform maintenance on all machines/units, participate in investment planning

Participate/lead projects

Train and, if applicable, mentor new employees

Scheduled on-call duty may occur

Travel may occur in the job

Ability to work at heights up to 2 m

Physically demanding work

Work in outdoor environments regardless of weather conditions

Some technical/mechanical knowledge

Requirements (IMPORTANT, mandatory)

Completed high school education or an education/experience deemed equivalent by Trafikverket. Must have a driver's license for passenger cars. Must have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. Must be meticulous, structured, and proactive. Must have the ability to work independently while also being good at collaborating.
