Maintenance Mechanic

Konvex AB is looking for a self-driven, practical maintenance mechanic who is eager to learn and interested in participating in various development projects within the company, primarily focusing on the machinery.

Role Description:

Your main tasks at Konvex will be to perform preventive maintenance and repair of equipment in our production facility in Karlskoga.

You will be responsible for our spare parts inventory along with others and independently carry out repairs on existing equipment, as well as determine when new parts need to be purchased. You will work and report via work orders in a maintenance system.

Your personality is characterized by being a team player and enjoying working together with others to achieve common goals. You have a strong drive to learn new areas of work. You are analytical and meticulous, can take initiative, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications:

- Good welding/metalworking skills are required, primarily using stainless MMA, with renovations through overlay welding also occurring; no active licenses are required.

- Good experience in inventory, seals, lubrication, etc.

- Good experience in transmission, gears, etc.

It is an advantage if you have completed training such as:

- Hot work

- Mobile work platforms

- Fall protection

- Overhead crane

- Forklift

Experience working with maintenance systems is also a plus.

We place great emphasis on personal qualities, and you should be a calm person who values the safety of others and has no issues meeting the company's requirements from an infection control perspective.

The position includes on-call duty around the clock, every 4 weeks.

Additional Information:

- Full-time, 40 hours/week, Daytime 07 - 16

- Start date according to agreement

- Salary according to collective agreement

- Employment type: Permanent with a 6-month probationary period.
