We are currently looking for 3 maintenance technicians for Nammo in Karlskoga. Nammo is starting a new maintenance department, so now is your chance to be part of building a completely new department.

You will work with:

• Planning/performing preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs, as well as developing administrative procedures when necessary.

• Conducting ongoing inspections and checks of equipment according to applicable work instructions.

• Leading and/or participating in projects and investigations to solve technical issues.

• Instructing hired personnel in maintenance work when necessary • Improvement work.

• Reporting observations, incidents, and accidents in IA.

• Working and reporting in the maintenance system.

• Ensuring a needs-based and economically optimal spare parts inventory for the operation.

Collaboration
The role involves close and effective collaboration with several different functions, such as:

• Production

• Purchasing • Quality

• Technology

• Other Nammo sites

• External contacts

As an employee, you are responsible for quickly calling for help in case of work or material problems and ensuring that work instructions are interpreted, understood, and used correctly to maintain high quality in the work.

Regarding protection and safety, you use the existing protective and safety tools in the department and wear personal protective equipment according to applicable guidelines. All incidents and work-related injuries are reported according to the company's procedures, and all work is carried out in accordance with the company's established safety levels and protective regulations.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has at least a 3-year high school education or equivalent and has good communication and collaboration skills. It is important that you understand the importance of environment, health, and safety. You have several years of experience in maintenance work.

• You are proficient in English, both spoken and written.

• You have experience from process or manufacturing industry.

• You have experience with hot work and mobile working platforms. Good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, bearing technology, measurement technology, reading drawings, and troubleshooting methodology. Basic knowledge of control systems and electrical components.

Initially, the job is during the day, but later different types of shifts may be used, so you must be able to work shifts.
