Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position:

The role of a personal assistant requires a high ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take initiative and see what needs to be done.

You will be working with a woman who studies literature at university, exercises, and socializes with friends. She travels domestically about 2–3 times a year.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a 23-year-old woman living in Vasastan
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• is solution-oriented, curious, and confident
• is non-smoking
• can tolerate pets and is comfortable with a dog in the home

It is also advantageous if you:

• share the client's interests such as reading, writing, and traveling

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 100%. The work is scheduled Monday–Saturday as follows:

Monday–Friday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM

Saturdays 12:00 PM–5:00 PM

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation is in accordance with collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
