Capio Orthopedic House is part of the Capio Orthopedics business area, which is a network of 13 orthopedic clinics in Sweden, 6 of which are located in Stockholm. Our clinic is situated by Globen near Gullmarsplan, an important communication hub.

Orthopedic House is a highly specialized orthopedic clinic with approximately 80 employees and is one of Stockholm's largest elective units outside of hospitals. We have a care agreement with Region Stockholm but also collaborate with several insurance companies. We provide both outpatient services and day surgery as well as inpatient surgical care.

We conduct orthopedic activities in hip and knee prosthetic surgery as well as arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder. In Stockholm, we are the leading clinic with a specific agreement for advanced foot surgery.

The clinic has 4 modern operating rooms with an associated recovery unit operating Monday to Thursday. An associated sterile unit is staffed daily by sterilization technicians and nursing assistants, with operating room nurses assisting as time allows.

A care department with 19 beds for inpatient care is open Monday to Friday. Your role

We are looking for a surgical nurse for regular tasks with an interest in orthopedics who wants to help develop the unit in a positive direction. We are looking for someone who enjoys working systematically, independently, but also in a team to create efficient patient flows. We rotate between inpatient and outpatient surgery. The work is currently conducted during the day, Monday to Thursday.We offer you

About you

You are a licensed nurse with specialized training in surgical nursing. 

You have several years of experience and are confident in your professional role. 

You are service-oriented and have good collaboration skills. 

You take initiative and responsibility for your own tasks but also for the whole.

You are flexible and unpretentious as the work as a surgical nurse at Orthopedic House is based on teamwork. 

Furthermore, it is important to have a quality mindset with a focus on high patient safety.
