The day activities Bo Bergman and Klockhuset are now looking for nursing assistants with experience working in day activities or with dementia care for summer positions.

We offer

We offer you a stimulating and social job where you will work in a professional team of experienced nursing assistants. We offer full-time work with hours Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:00. To give you the best possible conditions for success in your work, we also provide a structured introduction with a designated supervisor.

Your role

In the day activities, the person-centered approach plays a central role in creating a safe, meaningful, and stimulating day for our guests living with dementia. Together with your colleagues, you will plan, implement, and adapt both care, meals, and activities based on the guests' individual needs, wishes, and conditions. Your main tasks include:

• Planning and implementing activities that stimulate guests physically, cognitively, and socially.
• Planning, preparing, and serving nutritious breakfast, lunch, and dessert.
• Providing support in care.
• Collaborating with relatives and home care services.

During the summer months, we have two vacation periods, and we prefer that you can work both periods.

Our periods are:

• Period 1: week 28 - 31
• Period 2: week 32 - 34

Your qualifications and experience

For the assignment, you need to:

• Have experience working in day activities for the elderly or dementia care
• Master the Swedish language fluently in speech and writing
• Have good knowledge of documentation according to the Social Services Act

It is advantageous to have:

• Training as a nursing assistant with a protected professional title.
• Specialist training in dementia care.

We place great emphasis on your personal skills. Working in day activities requires a professional approach, as well as a good ability to structure your work in collaboration with guests, relatives, home care services, and staff. You are expected to have a person-centered working method, where you, with pedagogical insight, explore together with the guest what is meaningful for them and take the initiative to offer it during their stay in the day activities.
