About us

In Basic Home Care, we usually work on behalf of health centers or family doctor clinics when they are closed – evenings, nights, and weekends. Our teams are based in five geographical locations in Stockholm County. Aleris Basic Home Care is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care departments, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Urgent Care.

The role

As a nursing assistant, you will be delegated by a nurse, and your tasks include medication administration, insulin, feeding tubes, stomas, inhalation, and minor wound care. We document in the TakeCare journal system and use Epsilon as a work tool to plan shifts. With us, you always have an administrative team that helps plan and structure the work. Together, we work to create safe and quality care for our patients.

For this role, the working hours are primarily 04:30-08:00 in the morning, with the possibility of extending working hours on weekends/holidays. You will start from the office in Huvusta (Anderstorpsvägen 10), and the patients are located within a defined geographical area. To travel between patient visits, you will use our environmentally classified cars.

Our offer

As an employee at Aleris, you gain access to a range of benefits that support you both in your work life and personal life. We strive to create the best possible conditions for you to thrive and develop. Read more about our benefits here.

With us in home care, we also offer you:

  • A well-thought-out introduction with follow-up

  • A culture where employee engagement and new ideas are encouraged

  • A good working environment with short decision-making paths and present leadership

About you

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a trained nursing assistant and holds a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare

  • Has previous experience with delegated tasks

  • Has good computer skills and experience with the Take Care journal system

  • Holds a Category B driver's license

  • Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is also highly meritorious if you have previously worked in home care. We see that you are independent and responsible with a good ability to handle changing situations calmly and focused. At the same time, you work in a structured and methodical way, even in a fast-paced environment. For us, it is also important that you have the patient in focus.
