Welcome to us

With us in the unit for preventive children and youth in Skärholmen, you will have the opportunity to work with development-oriented preventive activities focusing on early interventions.

Our unit includes youth reception, field workers, school social workers, parent reception, social intervention groups (SIG), social workers with the police, SSPF, and the aftercare project. The unit is part of the preventive and promoting area where leisure activities are also included. The area is in an exciting phase; we are working intensively to design working methods to meet the new social services law and the needs of the district. As an employee with us, you play an important role in that work.

We are now looking for a SIG/SSPF coordinator for the Crime Prevention Group, which consists of SIG, SSPF, the aftercare project, and social workers with the police. The position is combined, and you will work with social intervention groups (SIG) as well as with a younger target group around the collaboration form SSPF (Social Services, School, Police, and Leisure).

We are looking for someone interested in working with both youth and adults and being involved in the development of social intervention groups. The target group for the social intervention group and SSPF is individuals aged 10-29 who commit crimes, are at risk of developing or have developed a criminal lifestyle, are in criminal environments, or are at risk of being involved or are already involved in violent extremism.

Your role

In the role of SIG/SSPF coordinator, you mainly work:

  • Proactively to create contact with users who need interventions
  • Motivationally since a large part of the work aims to get the user to accept interventions from social services or others who can support the individual
  • Coordinating where you, among other things, establish action plans with the user and other involved parties and hold regular network meetings
  • With individual conversations with users

You are also responsible for collaboration within the framework of SSPF.

The work involves evening shifts in socially vulnerable environments.

Your qualifications and experience

  • Degree in Social Work
  • Experience of authority exercise IFO Children and Youth

Meritorious

  • Training in Crime as a Lifestyle
  • Training in RePulse
  • Experience of working in vulnerable areas
  • Experience of working with children and youth with norm-breaking behavior

The role requires you to have good collaboration skills and the ability to create contacts and maintain relationships. You take responsibility for and independently drive the work forward, both in a structured and goal-oriented manner. It also requires a flexible approach.

The position includes a background check, and applicants must present an extract from the police criminal record before employment occurs.
