The assignment
As a social worker with us, you will work with:
- Investigation and assessment according to SoL and LVU
- Deciding and following up on support measures for children, youth, families, and adults
- Documentation and legally secure processing
- Developing and strengthening the work with preventive measures
- Collaboration with schools, healthcare, associations, and other authorities
Challenges and opportunities
We are on a journey of change where more preventive and supportive measures replace placements. This means you will be involved in:
- Strengthening the participation of children and youth
- Contributing to faster and more accessible forms of support throughout the municipality, even in rural and archipelago areas
- Developing working methods with methods such as BBIC and Signs of Safety
- Managing complex cases that require both structure and creative problem-solving
What you need to bring
Requirements
- Degree in Social Work
- Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish
- Knowledge of the Social Services Act, LVU, and other relevant legislation
Meritorious
- Experience of authority exercise within social services
- Knowledge of BBIC, Signs of Safety, or similar methods
- Fluency in Finnish or one of the national minority languages
