System Administrator at Akkodis in Gothenburg

We at Akkodis in Gothenburg are looking for a system administrator for a project with one of our clients in the defense industry. Do you have previous experience with LINUX and are ready for new challenges? Then you might be the one we are looking for!

What you will do:

In the role of system administrator, you will be an important person in the team responsible for the management and further development of technical services for the client's operations. The assignment includes ensuring the availability of systems and digital services, which places high demands on both security, stability, and accuracy in the work performed. You will also have a central role in the delivery and support flow of IT services.

You will also work with:

• Standardizing, streamlining, and automating work methods and systems
• Participating in projects related to the technology platform
• Being part of the operations and support team, performing troubleshooting and installations
• Patch management and upgrading of server environments
• Ensuring compliance with applicable security requirements
• Actively participating in technology improvement work

Your profile

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in the LINUX technology area with a focus on server operations. We prefer that you have experience from large operational environments with several variants of operating systems. You have a strong interest in technology and an ambition to drive work towards automation to find more efficient ways of working.

Furthermore, we would like you to have:

• Good knowledge of commonly used scripting languages such as Bash or Python
• Security awareness regarding automated configuration management
• A service-oriented approach
• An interest in working with the latest technology and keeping up with industry developments
• Fluent language skills in Swedish and English
• Driver's license B

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience with Red Hat, SUSE Manager, or similar tools
• Experience with Ansible – Dockers – Kubernetes
• Hardening of systems

Travel primarily within Sweden is included in the work, so a B driver's license is desirable.
