As a substitute with us, we would like you to be able to work days/evenings and weekends; there is also the possibility to work nights if that suits you.

Birkagården's special accommodation for people with dementia

Birkagården is a special accommodation for people with dementia diagnoses and is centrally located in Söderköping's city center, close to the Göta Canal and Storån. We have a beautiful inner courtyard that offers nice walking paths and the opportunity to relax in the sensory garden.

Birkagården has 39 apartments, distributed over five departments. We have staffing around the clock, and the work team consists of care staff, nurses, and two unit managers as well as an administrator.

Job Description

With us, you will assist our elderly with practical help and provide support in everyday situations based on the individual needs of the residents.

This includes all tasks such as assistance with personal care, help during meals, and social interaction.

Qualifications

You who apply should have a pleasant demeanor and focus on the individual.

A nursing program or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent is desirable but not a requirement.

You must be at least 18 years old. Experience from similar activities is an advantage. We place great emphasis on your personal suitability.

You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language both in speech and writing and be open to delegation responsibility for medication administration.
