At God Assistans, we are looking for a dedicated and responsible personal assistant to support and facilitate daily life for Julia. Care is the foundation of everything we do and something that is essential in providing the best possible personal assistance. We are currently seeking a passionate individual who wants to become a valuable part of our team.

As a personal assistant, you will work with Julia, a lively 12-year-old girl. Julia is cheerful, patient, and playful. She uses a wheelchair and needs a great assistant who can support her when her limits are reached. Julia has epilepsy and a feeding tube. Experience in this area is advantageous but not a requirement.

A work shift includes, among other things:

• Assisting with most daily activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, interacting and communicating with her surroundings, and playing.
• Helping Julia with administering medication/feeding through the tube.
• Assisting Julia with everyday tasks such as dressing/undressing, eating, and exercising.
• She needs help with transfers, which can involve heavy lifting.
• Joining Julia on outings, swimming, or watching movies.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is over 18 years old
• Speaks fluent Swedish and has good communication skills.
• Is smoke-free
• Experience in personal assistance is a significant advantage but not a requirement.
• Is a confident person with good self-esteem.
• Has a playful spirit and wants to fill Julia's time with both safety and laughter.
• Is easy-going, creative, cheerful, curious, and takes initiative.

Working hours and location

At Julia's home on weekdays between 16:00-20:30
Awake night 20:30-08:00
Weekends 09:00-20:30

Salary and benefits

We offer:

• Collective agreement
• Individual salary setting.
• Wellness allowance of up to 4000 SEK/year.
• Support in the form of training and introductory shifts for new staff.
