JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a local project assistant for the project Early Interventions Collaboration 2.0, targeting third-country nationals, in other words, people from countries outside the EU. An exciting collaboration between Region Uppsala and seven municipalities in the county: Heby, Håbo, Knivsta, Tierp, Uppsala, Älvkarleby, and Östhammar.

The project aims to develop early interventions that meet the needs of the target group at both group and individual levels. Through early and precise measures, we want to create better conditions for establishment, integration, and participation for third-country nationals.

The project aims to contribute to:

• faster and stronger language development,
• increased knowledge of Swedish society,
• and improved collaboration both regionally and nationally for a more equitable and inclusive establishment.

As a local project assistant, you will be an important support for our local project coordinator. You will work with participants locally in various initiatives that we create together for third-country nationals. The role also involves supporting our project coordinator in developing, disseminating, and ensuring the quality of the project's activities through active participation in the project group, training, dissemination efforts, and evaluations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer that you have a post-secondary education and that you have experience and knowledge of the target group. You should also have insight into and experience from public operations. If you also have knowledge of labor market issues both theoretically and practically, as well as familiarity with the local or regional labor market, we see that as a significant asset.

We believe you are a person who easily builds trust and relationships while being solution-focused. You enjoy collaborating, contribute to a good work climate, and see the value in developing together with others. We also hope that you have a genuine commitment to the target group and are passionate about contributing to positive community development.
