Your Workplace

The hospital in Torsby is an acute care hospital with three wards, dialysis, and an integrated ICU/IMA. The hospital is relatively small, but with a wide catchment area and 11 miles to the Central Hospital in Karlstad. This means that the range of diseases is varied and broad, and you will quickly gain good knowledge of the diagnostics and treatment of the most common diseases.

In the area, we also have several health centers. The health center is the base of healthcare in Värmland and offers care at all stages of life.

Your Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a team and be responsible together with colleagues for the care of our patients. The work as a nursing assistant primarily involves care, but also checks, sampling, and documentation. We offer you a stimulating job where your contribution is important for the work group and the patient. To help you feel secure in your role as a summer temporary worker, you will receive an introduction on-site.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. If you have not yet received your certificate to use the job title, you will be employed as a care assistant.
