Your Workplace

The hospital in Arvika is a smaller regional hospital with western Värmland as its primary catchment area. The largest operations are internal medicine and orthopedic inpatient and outpatient care. The acute assignments differ somewhat between the operations. In addition, there are several clinics within psychiatry, dialysis, gynecology, ENT, and ophthalmology. We collaborate with the Central Hospital in Karlstad and also with university hospitals, primarily in Örebro, Uppsala, and Gothenburg.

In the area, we also have several health centers. The health center is the base of healthcare in Värmland and offers care at all stages of life. Additionally, we have a mobile team in Arvika, which is based at the hospital but works in the western municipalities of the county.

Your Responsibilities

As a nursing assistant with us, you will work in a team and be responsible together with colleagues for the care of our patients. The work as a nursing assistant primarily involves care but also includes monitoring, sample collection, and documentation. We offer you a stimulating job where your contribution is important for the workgroup and the patient. To ensure you feel secure in your role as a summer temp, you will receive an introduction on-site.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. If you have not yet received your certificate to use the job title, you will be employed as a care assistant.
