Your Role

We are looking for an Information Engineer who wants to contribute to a structured and reliable information environment at LKAB. In this role, you will be an important part of our work to maintain high quality in facility information – a central component for effective operation and maintenance in our business.

As an information engineer, you will work in an engaged team responsible for managing and developing documentation routines, information structures, and regulations. You will ensure that the right requirements are set and that the documentation is current, traceable, and accessible in our systems.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Manage and develop LKAB's documentation regulations, including routines, guidelines, and instructions
• Ensure uniform information structures for documentation in our systems
• Administer documentation flows and ensure that routines work in practice
• Handle ongoing documentation cases and contribute to order and clarity in the documentation environment
• Build networks with various stakeholders in the business to strengthen the support function's role and relevance
• Follow developments in the documentation field, both internally and externally

Here, you will play a central role in ensuring that documentation work is consolidated, traceable, and easily accessible – an important contribution that strengthens our technical management and long-term sustainability. You will be part of LKAB's digitalization journey and work closely with the business to support and develop their documentation practices. By creating clearer processes and structures, you help our colleagues succeed in their information management.

Your skills and areas of interest will influence the direction and development of the role.

What You Bring

We believe you are either a recent graduate from a university or college or have gained some experience after graduation.

You are curious, communicative, and enjoy collaborating. With a structured approach, an interest in business development, and the ability to build good relationships, you contribute to driving the work forward. You see opportunities in change, are motivated by new challenges, and enjoy turning ideas into results together with others.

For this role, you will be offered training and knowledge transfer tailored to the position; LKAB has support from external companies for training in the area. In addition, you need to have:

• A degree as a civil engineer, engineering degree, or vocational engineering degree; we are open to several technical areas, e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical & automation, construction, maintenance, or machine safety
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• A driving license (B), which is a requirement for all positions within LKAB
