The Culture Unit is looking for guides/café hosts for Ornässtugan

Ornässtugan has a museum where historical guided tours are offered, as well as a café where everything is baked on-site. We have a special focus on fika that is baked without gluten, eggs, and milk.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Guiding, café work, sales, dishwashing, cash reporting, local and area maintenance.

Working hours: scheduled shifts, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.

The position is a temporary employment from June to August 2025. New staff will receive training during the first days of work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We prefer applicants with an interest in service, tourism, history, café, information, and culture. Experience in history and tourism studies, as well as café or food handling, is an advantage since a large part of the workday is spent on café tasks.

A requirement is excellent language skills in Swedish and English, which are necessary for guiding and interacting with both international and national visitors.

You should be service-oriented, proactive, meticulous, flexible, socially competent, and comfortable speaking in front of a group. It is important to be cooperative as we are a small team where everyone's work is needed.

During the interview, you as a candidate need to provide proof of citizenship in Sweden/EU/EES or a valid work residence permit.
