We are a group of about 30 people located across the country, with current placement locations in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Örebro, Linköping, Uppsala, and Umeå. We also offer a remote agreement that allows you to work from home one day a week when the business allows.

Job Description

The group is responsible for the Police Authority's national network infrastructure, which involves ensuring a modern, secure, and reliable network environment for the entire operation.

In this role, there is an opportunity to broaden or specialize in various areas within network infrastructure depending on interest. The tasks include development, implementation, and operation, with many points of contact with other groups within the IT department and external suppliers.

Main tasks may include:

• Development, configuration, and operation of data center and access networks in large-scale operations
• Advanced troubleshooting in complex environments with high availability requirements

Qualifications

This is an opportunity for you who have:

• Post-secondary education in IT, or other acquired experience deemed relevant by the Police Authority
• Several years of experience in design, configuration, operation, and maintenance of data center networks in large-scale operations as assessed relevant by the Police Authority
• Very good knowledge of ACI and VMware NSX
• Experience in advanced troubleshooting in complex environments with high availability requirements in the near term
• Good ability to communicate and document technical solutions
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in both Swedish and English
• Swedish citizenship

It is advantageous if you also have:

• Relevant certifications for the position
