In your role, you will be part of the Technical Development unit within the management of Regionfastigheter. The unit supports Regionfastigheter's operations in projects, management, and operations, and manages Region Skåne's property technical systems. The unit has about 15 employees who will be your closest colleagues. We have high and broad competence within our organization, and the role involves many touchpoints and collaboration between different areas of expertise.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Do you want to contribute to managing and developing Region Skåne's security systems for properties?

We are now looking for an engaged and experienced specialist in security technology to develop and manage our security installations. You will be an important player at Regionfastigheter as we strengthen our organization in security technology. You will work independently in a cross-functional unit with a lot of responsibility.

In your role, you will ensure that security systems are managed with high quality and contribute to development. You will be responsible for ensuring that supplier agreements are followed and monitor performance. Contact with authorities is part of your duties. You will work with video surveillance, access control systems, intrusion alarms, fire alarms, and patient signaling systems, as well as collaborate with IT coordinators regarding the maintenance and development of the IT environment for security systems. Furthermore, you will participate in new construction and renovation projects and ensure the specification of technical installations and monitor the field of expertise to meet future technology.

Your office will be located at Dockplatsen 26 in Malmö. You also have the opportunity to work remotely a couple of days a week. The job may involve travel within the county.

QUALIFICATIONS

We welcome you who have:

• relevant higher education or university degree, alternatively post-secondary education combined with work experience deemed equivalent.
• solid knowledge and experience of security technical installations.
• good knowledge of IP infrastructure and how security systems integrate with IT environments.
• good computer skills and are comfortable working with the Microsoft Office suite.
• very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

The systems you work with are present in all of Region Skåne's hospitals, and your work is therefore varied and mobile. A B driver's license is required as travel is involved in the job.

You are a secure and stable person with good self-awareness. Furthermore, you are self-driven and structured, which means that you plan your work in advance, organize and prioritize activities effectively, and set and meet deadlines. Other important qualities are that you have an easy time finding new perspectives, come up with ideas, and develop traditional approaches. As you are the link between the customer and our consultants, it is crucial that you can express yourself clearly and engagingly in both large and small groups. Your service level is high, and you have the ability to prioritize and solve problems. We also expect you to have a good ability to collaborate with others and maintain good contact with tenants, municipalities, and authorities.
