We are looking for nurses for summer temporary positions, summer 2026 at Arvika Hospital.

Your workplace

Arvika Hospital is a smaller regional hospital with western Värmland as its primary catchment area. The hospital conducts activities in medicine, dialysis, radiology, orthopedics, rehabilitation, laboratory with blood donation, surgery, and intensive care. There is also a psychiatric clinic, gynecological clinic, an ear-nose-throat clinic, hearing center, mobile team, chemotherapy clinic, and an eye clinic with associated subspecialties. The emergency department is open around the clock, and the primary care emergency center is also located here during weekends.

Your tasks

We offer you a stimulating job, and with your help, both we and the patients will improve. As a summer temp, you will receive an introduction to your position and the opportunity for mentorship support. A summer temp position with us is a great start to your career as a nurse.

As a nurse, you will lead and be responsible for the daily care around the patient and perform common nursing tasks such as medication management and care work. In the daily meeting with the patient, you have an important role in collaboration with other staff categories.

Your qualifications and competencies

You are a licensed nurse or are expected to receive your license by spring/summer 2026.
