We are now looking for a dentist who wants to work with us at Folktandvården in Östhammar. Here you will be part of an experienced team that is passionate about dental care and patient interaction. The clinic is located in central Östhammar with good bus connections to Uppsala and only a 1-hour travel time to Norrtälje. Here you have proximity to everything, preschools, schools, shops, beautiful nature around the sea and archipelago, as well as a rich outdoor life.

Our operations and Your mission

At the clinic, there is a wide range of expertise with a lot of experience; we are a modern clinic equipped with a scanner for digital impressions and intraoral cameras. As an employed dentist in Östhammar, you will benefit from a favorable location supplement. The location supplement is 6000 SEK per month for those with 1 year of experience and 3000 SEK per month for those working their first year in the profession. The clinic has a large and diverse patient base and is equipped with OPG. We have six treatment rooms in fresh, modern premises. We care about a good working environment and have several forums for dialogue, collaboration, networking, and development – both at the clinic and within Folktandvården.

In addition to a dental degree and the right to practice in Sweden, we see that you are committed to your work and provide high-quality care and interaction, as well as having good communication skills with patients and colleagues. It is important that you are positive, flexible, meticulous, and work with a quality-conscious approach with a high level of service focused on the patient. We place great importance on your personal qualities.

Regardless of previous work experience, you as a new dentist at our clinic will find good development opportunities. You will have the chance to broaden your skills as a general dentist alongside experienced colleagues at the clinic, deepen your knowledge in a specific area through observation and external/internal courses, or specialize if this is relevant. If you are newly graduated, you will receive an experienced mentor and participate in our introductory program for newly graduated dental hygienists and dentists, the mentorship program.

To apply for this position, you must have completed dental training and received a license from the National Board of Health and Welfare. We welcome both those with many years of experience in dentistry and those who are at the beginning of their dental career.
