About the Role

As a network specialist, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and maintaining complex network solutions. You will be a central part of our work to ensure high performance, reliability, and security in our systems. This role has a particular focus on further developing and securing our firewall environments. The role spans both strategic and operational areas, where you work closely with colleagues in IT, the business, and with external suppliers.

Your Main Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain advanced network solutions
• Configure, administer, and optimize firewalls
• Be responsible for troubleshooting, patching, and updates of network infrastructure
• Contribute to the development of robust and secure solutions for critical societal systems

Here you will have the opportunity to take a comprehensive approach to the network infrastructure and drive through the improvements and solutions you see that strengthen the operational reliability in our important OT environments.

Swedish citizenship, security clearance with background check, and drug testing are required as the position involves security-protected operations.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who is analytical, meticulous, and solution-oriented. You are also communicative, collaborative, and have the ability to work independently and drive your own work forward. Furthermore, you are proactive and have an interest in developing both technology and working methods together with your colleagues.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Experience in design, operation, and maintenance of network and firewall environments
• Good knowledge of network protocols, switches, and routing
• Experience working in cross-functional teams
• Post-secondary education in networking/data communication or equivalent competence

Meritorious:
Experience in production-related IT or OT environments, or work with critical systems in the public sector.
Knowledge in VPN gateway, reverse proxy, AD, virtualization, and Linux.
