Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a teenager aged 16 living in Täby
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience with low-arousal approaches
• has experience in similar work
• has experience working with children
• must not have pets at home due to allergies at the workplace

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 45%. The job involves working during daytime-evening hours two days a week (for example, Tuesday and Thursday) from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and 2-3 weekends a month from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.

According to legislation, we as an employer are required to request a criminal record extract from all employees who will work as personal assistants for a child under 18 years. Therefore, you will need to present an extract from the police's criminal record before a possible employment. Further information will be provided if you proceed in the recruitment process.
