Regional Manager Animal Health, West

Do you want to work with something that truly matters? Our department consists of competent animal health veterinarians who work with preventive health care for cattle across the country. The demand for our services is increasing and the department is growing. Therefore, we are now looking for a regional manager for our animal health veterinarians in the West region, which is a group of about ten veterinarians in Halland, Värmland, and Västergötland.

As the regional manager for animal health, you will be part of a team with two other regional managers (in the east and mid-north) and a department manager. All employees in the department are veterinarians, and we primarily seek someone who is a veterinarian and wants to lead veterinarians. The role also includes local coordination responsibilities at the operational site where you are placed. If necessary, operational animal health work may also occur in the position.

You will be placed at one of our operational sites in the West region, as we see local proximity as important. This is especially true for collaboration with staff and managers in other departments, which is a significant part of our daily work. Ongoing contact with colleagues and staff largely occurs digitally, but carpooling and physical meetings are also important. We primarily prefer placement at the operational site in Falkenberg or Falköping, but other locations within the West may also be possible.

As a regional manager at Växa, you work in a member-owned organization, where customers are also our owners, and the purpose is to contribute to developing members' profitability, among other things through animal health consulting. Employees work strategically and preventively with animal health efforts within Swedish dairy and meat production in the field.
