Temporary district doctor needed for a long-term assignment at a well-functioning health center in Vestlandet.

Here you will encounter a broad patient portfolio and a workday that combines acute assessments, follow-up of chronic diseases, and consultations for patients in all life stages. The assignment is suitable for both those with experience as a district doctor and those wishing for more experience.

The health center has an experienced team that works closely together, and you will receive support from colleagues who place great importance on good dialogue, high medical quality, and stable operations. Additionally, Vestlandet offers fantastic leisure opportunities, ranging from fjord landscapes and mountain trails to coastlines, boating, and small communities with strong camaraderie.

Assignment period: March 2, 2026 – November 27, 2026

Working hours: 08:00–16:00

On-call: On-call work is agreed directly with the client. There is an opportunity to take on extra on-call shifts if desired.

Conditions: The assignment offers good conditions with fixed compensation for daytime work.

Accommodation and travel are included.

Qualifications:

• Norwegian medical license
• 
  
• Good communication skills in one of the Scandinavian languages, both spoken and written
• 
  
• Class B driver's license is an advantage
• 
  
• Completed training in Nødnett and emergency medicine is an advantage
• 
  
• Good humor and strong collaboration and communication skills are highly valued
• 
  
• Clean criminal record must be documented through a police record extract in accordance with health care legislation
