About the position
At the endocrinology clinic in Huddinge, highly specialized investigations and treatments of all kinds of endocrinological diseases are conducted. We have particularly high competence in diabetes, diabetic foot ulcers, lipid disorders, and osteoporosis. This position is located at the osteoporosis clinic, which is part of the endocrinology clinic.
At the osteoporosis clinic, you will work in a technical environment and have the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills. You will collaborate closely with the rest of the team, where everyone plays an important role in providing the best care for the patient.
The role includes both independent work and collaborations with nursing colleagues and physicians.
Region Stockholm has decided to establish a competence center for osteoporosis. The hope is that this will lead to the expansion of our operations, and it may also be relevant to administer osteoporosis medications as part of the position in the future.
As a nurse with us, you will:
- meet unique patients
- perform DXA examinations with subsequent analysis work
- work to ensure evidence-based care is provided
- promote collaboration between different professions to offer the patient an effective, safe, and person-centered meeting.
- work partially administratively, such as referral assessments and, if necessary, support our fracture coordinator
- participate in clinical research and drug studies
The position includes work on an inpatient care unit if the need arises.

Qualifications
Requirements:
- licensed nurse or radiology nurse
Meritorious:
- previous experience working with bone density measurements
- good computer skills
- good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
- good knowledge of RIS/PACS and/or Take Care
