We are now looking for a nurse with a base placement in the Pre- and Postoperative Department of Reconstructive Surgery at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö. With us, you will mostly work daytime, Monday to Friday, in an environment where teamwork, learning, and quality permeate everything we do. Our pre- and postoperative unit is part of the Intensive and Perioperative Care (VO IPV). We are currently open on weekdays but are part of an ongoing merger where you will eventually have the opportunity to rotate between several pre- and postoperative units within surgery, orthopedics, and gynecological surgery, perfect for you who want to broaden your skills and try new things without changing workplaces.

RESPONSIBILITIES

In our unit, we work to provide patients with the best possible care before and after surgery. As a nurse in the pre- and postoperative unit, you will come into contact with patients (both adults and children) in many different specialties. QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, you have language skills in Swedish equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale. If you have experience or specialized training in emergency care, surgical/urological care, pre- and postoperative care, or intensive care, we consider it an advantage.

You are engaged, confident in your professional role, and want to work in a dynamic environment. You find it easy to collaborate and have the ability to prioritize in acute situations. We expect that you, like us, are driven by the desire and interest to develop postoperative care. Additionally, you are motivated to actively participate in the continuous improvement process we are in. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
