About the Role

We offer you the opportunity to utilize your knowledge in environment, quality, occupational health and safety, and sustainability to lead assignments for our clients across Sweden, both independently and together with competent colleagues. To thrive and succeed in this role, we believe you have several years of experience in the field, for example as a consultant, environmental or occupational health and safety coordinator from the industry or from a supervisory authority. You will belong to Environment & Health

As our new project leader in the establishment of data centers, you will be part of our unit Compliance, Sustainability, and Transactions, which currently consists of about 25 consultants in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Växjö, and Perstorp. In your role, you will work directly with clients, both independently and in teams, to help them develop and future-proof their data center operations. Our clients come from various industries and vary in size, making the work both diverse and challenging. You will have driven colleagues with extensive experience and an organization whose expertise spans multiple technical areas.

Examples of your main tasks may include:

• Leading consulting and projects in the establishment and development of data centers, focusing on sustainability and long-term operational reliability
• Coordinating large, interdisciplinary projects together with Ramboll's experts in environmental permits, pollution, LCA, energy, water, and environment, including our colleagues in other countries.
• Driving development projects in early stages, including site investigations, environmental due diligence (EDD), environmental risk assessments, environmental evaluations, and permitting processes.
• Supporting clients in compliance with regulations, standards, and permitting requirements
• Contributing to the development and marketing of Ramboll's offerings in the data center area, both nationally and internationally

• Strong leadership skills with experience in leading multiple parallel work streams and managing client expectations in complex projects.
• Experience in environmental or sustainability issues, preferably related to data centers, transactions, permitting issues, or compliance.
• Good understanding of relevant environmental legislation and the ability to apply it in practical projects.
• Interest in developing within the establishment of data centers and either currently or in the future taking on a project management role.
• Ability to work systematically, analyze information, and translate it into clear conclusions in reports.
• Business acumen and interest in client relationships – you find it stimulating to engage in dialogue with clients and contribute to Ramboll's market development.
• Previous experience in a consulting role, environmental/sustainability work in organizations, or supervisory work is a requirement.
