Habo Municipality is located in the southern Vätterbygden, one of the country's leading growth regions. The small municipality is close to the big city.

Our latest group home opened in 2023 and has had its last planned move-in during the spring of 2025.

During 2025, the operation has had temporary positions concerning awake night shifts, to map out lasting needs, and it is now time to fill them permanently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a support assistant, you provide support to users within LSS with special needs. We are looking for someone with knowledge, commitment, and interest in working in a group home for individuals with varying disabilities.

The foundation of our LSS housing forms is sleeping on-call. In cases where we have active interventions planned in the ongoing operations (nighttime), we assign awake night shifts. This means that you as an applicant should be prepared to perform situational changes, delegated tasks from a nurse as needed, meet a user, and provide security, etc.

The work involves collaboration with other colleagues and the unit manager, as well as other important individuals around the user. The user's needs are at the center, and we actively channel their wishes to ensure they are taken into account. Users should receive support in their right to decide over their lives and develop their abilities to live as independently as possible. As support, you will have close cooperation with colleagues and management. Further information about the operation and specific needs will be provided during the interview or through contact.

QUALIFICATIONS

You have a secondary education; nursing assistant, child and leisure education, or equivalent education that the employer assesses as equivalent. As a person, we are looking for someone with a secure and pedagogical working method, with values and quality that promote our users.

If you have worked with clarifying pedagogy, conversation support within AAC, or with clarifying structures, it is meritorious. Valuable qualities include security, attentiveness, and initiative.

When filling the position, great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
