ValueOne is looking for a Senior Project Manager for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in the manufacturing industry in Umeå. The assignment starts in December 2025 and lasts until November 2026.

About the role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will work on driving projects within industrialization and production technology from the initial feasibility study to final commissioning. The role involves actively participating in the industrialization and implementation of new equipment and processes.

Main responsibilities:

• Drive projects in production technology from early feasibility studies to final commissioning.
• Take responsibility for technical analyses, specification development, and procurement management in ongoing projects.
• Participate in the industrialization and implementation of new equipment and processes within automation, mechanics, and production.
• Work closely with various functions such as engineering, production, maintenance, and external suppliers to ensure effective collaboration.
• Ensure that investments are carried out according to the established plan, budget, and company standards.

Experience and competence
We are looking for an experienced project manager with at least 5 years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams within the industry. You have experience in budget work, scheduling, and resource allocation, as well as good knowledge of project models, risk management, quality control, and supplier management. You are proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is an advantage if you have an engineering degree in mechanical engineering, industrial economics, or similar, as well as experience in manufacturing, automation, and facility projects.

As a person, you are structured and solution-oriented with strong analytical skills. You are communicative and collaborative while being driven and results-oriented with a strategic overall perspective.
