We are now looking for an engaged and responsible Front Office Supervisor to join our reception team. In this role, you will be a key person for the hotel’s guest experience and will have an operational leadership role with significant responsibility for both the operation and further development of the department.

The Sparrow Hotel, Stockholm's colorful and chic boutique hotel, offers warm, relaxed, and personal service. The hotel consists of 87 rooms and suites, located in the city center just two minutes from Stureplan, close to everything and everyone. The heart of the hotel is our French lounge, wine bar, and bistro created by Mathias Dahlgren. The Sparrow Hotel is operated by Grand Group, which also includes Grand Hôtel Stockholm and Lydmar Hotel.

Who are we looking for?

As Front Office Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that the daily operations in the reception run smoothly while also contributing to the long-term development of the department. You will lead the team on-site and ensure that routines, policies, and standards are always followed. Together with the Rooms Division Manager, you will also work on scheduling, recruitment, and onboarding of new employees. The role also includes administrative tasks as instructed, as well as a significant responsibility to support, coach, and develop the reception team in their daily work.

• Ensure a well-functioning operation of the reception

• Further develop routines, work methods, and service flows

• Ensure that policies, standards, and routines are followed

• Support, coach, and follow up with the team in their daily work

• Be responsible for training and onboarding of new staff

• Perform administrative tasks as instructed

• Participate in scheduling and recruitment in consultation with the Rooms Division Manager

• Be a role model in delivering world-class service

We are looking for someone with experience in hotel reception, preferably in a supervisory role, who now wants to take the next step in their career. You thrive in a fast-paced operational environment with many contact points, while also being structured and solution-oriented. As a person, you are confident, responsible, and have a natural sense of service and leadership. You can make quick decisions, motivate others, and create a positive atmosphere for both guests and colleagues.

You have a positive attitude, see opportunities in most situations, are engaged, and want to be part of our effort to improve a little more every day and create memorable moments for our guests.

You are flexible and see no obstacles to working days/evenings on weekdays and weekends.

Your qualities

• Previous experience in hotel reception, preferably with responsibility for operations or staff.

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written (additional languages are a plus).

• Knowledge of Opera Cloud or similar systems.

• Ability to work independently, structured, and solution-oriented.

• A passion for guest service and an eye for detail.

The position is a permanent employment of 100% with a 6-month probationary period. Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends. Start date is as soon as possible, salary according to agreement. We apply collective agreements.
