Ward 45/MOA belongs to the medical clinic and consists of 24 care places distributed within hematology and medical observation. MOA is a medical observation unit where patients are admitted for observation via the emergency department.

At MOA, you will meet patients with various diagnoses. The length of stay is 24 hours, after which patients either go home or are transferred to other care departments based on their needs. Ward 45 specializes in hematology and has a regional responsibility for these patients. Ward 45/MOA is currently in a development phase for the future of specialized care, and the assignment may change based on patient needs. You will be involved in all specialties for both Ward 45 and MOA, which will give you a broad competence within the medical specialty.

The Job

In your daily work, you will collaborate with doctors, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, social workers, and physiotherapists among others. As a nurse, you will actively participate in the care of the patient, both general and specific care. The tasks are both medical and nursing based on your nursing competence.

About You

You are a licensed nurse. You will rotate between Ward 45 and MOA, which are located in the same department. You have the ability to work independently but also in a team. You contribute to a good working atmosphere in the department and share your knowledge with colleagues and students.

To thrive with us, you are a development-oriented person with an interest in participating in various improvement efforts. You find it easy to collaborate and contribute to our good working climate. Furthermore, you are a person who can work independently and has the ability to prioritize between different tasks. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in crisis positions. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
