About Us

We are looking for a new employee to join our team at Karlshamn Rehabilitation Center.

Here you will work alongside other physiotherapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, counseling teams, and other professionals at the health center. We are a cheerful group of mixed ages. Karlshamn Rehabilitation Center is located in a quiet green area in Asarum, with a lovely outdoor terrace and close proximity to walking paths.

Primary care includes Region Blekinge's health centers, youth clinics, and wound centers. Residents of Blekinge who become ill turn directly to the health centers and gain access to health care that does not require hospital resources. Care is provided in all cities in the county, in several smaller towns, and sometimes in homes. Our goal is to be a modern outpatient care where teamwork and patients' needs are at the center.

About the Job

Your main tasks will involve independent patient work with a variety of individual assessments and treatments as well as group activities, such as osteoarthritis school.

We are the first point of contact for assessments of joint and muscle-related issues. Common areas of work include postoperative conditions in orthopedics, osteoarthritis, musculoskeletal pain conditions, mental health, and neurology. You have the opportunity to meet your patients physically or digitally based on needs.

We have a close collaboration with Samaritens Health Center and Brunnsgården Health Center. We also collaborate with other actors within Region Blekinge.

About You

You should be a qualified and licensed physical therapist or physiotherapist. We welcome newly graduated colleagues who wish to work in primary care, and we have mentorship for those who are new. The work requires you to be able to work independently, have good collaboration skills, be flexible, and want to contribute to the development of the organization.

We place great importance on your personal suitability for the tasks. Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a state of readiness. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security clearance interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
