We are looking for a district nurse/nurse for Surahammar Health Center.

We prefer that you applying for the position are a district nurse, but you can also be a nurse with experience from primary care. If you also have education and competence in areas such as diabetes, incontinence, dementia, or asthma/COPD, it is a merit.

As a district nurse/nurse with us, the work is very varied and includes telephone counseling/chat, outpatient work with both planned and acute visits. The work is very independent, but also requires that you have the ability to work in a team-based manner.

Praktikertjänst's Health Center in Surahammar is located in the heart of Västmanland, centrally located with proximity to both train and bus connections. Our modern premises are centrally located in Surahammar with Surahammar's Folkets hus as a neighbor on the other side of the square. We are close to lunch restaurants and share premises with a fresh gym.

We have approximately 9000 registered patients and have all the professions that belong to a health center under our roof.

We are an educational health center that trains future doctors, specialists in general medicine, and general service before specialist training, nurses, and district nurses.

We are a wonderful and cheerful team that has good cooperation in a stable workgroup of 28 employees.

We have a stable group of doctors with 4 permanently employed family doctors as well as 5 ST doctors and 1-2 AT doctors.

We have 3 district nurses, 5 nurses, and 1 nursing assistant.
