The Role of Nurse at the Dialysis Clinic

Unit F is an outpatient clinic with 24 hemodialysis stations, focusing on utilizing the patient's self-care ability. The goal is to create engaged patients who can live an active life with good quality of life despite chronic illness. The team consists of nursing assistants, nurses, doctors, administrative staff, and medical technicians.

The Medicine and Geriatrics Clinic at Höglandssjukhuset in Eksjö is a developing operation where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. The clinic has a history of innovative, systematic, and evidence-based quality work with a strong patient focus. Since 2014, the clinic's management system has been certified according to ISO 9001:2008.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse with an interest in dialysis and kidney diseases, as well as a liking for technology and care. We are looking for someone who can complement our team, with a focus on personal suitability. Whether you are newly graduated and new to your role as a nurse or an experienced nurse with solid experience, you can contribute to our operations. We see that you have a drive to develop and want to contribute to the development of the organization. You are communicative, have good collaboration skills, and maintain a positive attitude in your work.

As you will work closely with patients, we believe it is important that you are good at building relationships to make patients feel safe and involved in their treatment. We are looking for someone who can complement our team, with a focus on personal suitability.

Our Offer to You

With us, you will have the opportunity to learn, develop, and work together with colleagues and patients. When you start with us, you will receive an introduction of about 6 weeks with a mentor, and if you are newly graduated, you will also participate in our in-depth introduction program for newly graduated nurses that lasts during your first year with us. The program includes both practical training, theory, and group supervision.

With us, you will have a stimulating and developing job in a pleasant workplace in modern premises with about 30 colleagues. The clinic is open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6:45 AM to 7:30 PM, and Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday from 6:45 AM to 3:30 PM. We apply a wish schedule.

The position is a temporary contract for 6 months with good opportunities for extension. Start date according to agreement.
