About the position

We at Olivia are looking for someone who wants to work as a personal assistant at approximately 24% for our client in Hammarby Sjöstad, Stockholm. In the long term, the position may be expanded to about 31%.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

  • 08:00 AM - 05:00 PM

In the long run, there may also be opportunities for extended shifts from 08:00 AM to 09:00 PM.

Start date is according to agreement, and we would like to see you start the onboarding process immediately.

About the client

The client is a woman in her 70s who lives with her husband. She needs your help as an assistant in her daily life due to MS. Since an MS diagnosis can affect mood and daily condition, we prefer that you are empathetic and flexible. You remain calm and patient and are respectful even when the client has tougher days or expresses her frustration verbally. Some aids are available at home, such as a wheelchair.

The tasks are as follows:

  • Assist with daily routines such as household chores
  • Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals
  • Transfers to and from the wheelchair
  • Catheter emptying - as an assistant, you will receive delegation.

We are looking for someone who is attentive, responsible, solution-focused, and engaged. You are an empathetic person and can easily put yourself in other people's life situations. Furthermore, you are a patient person who can remain calm in all situations. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Requirements: 

  • Previous experience as a personal assistant
  • Experience with MS

 Employment rate: 1 position 24%

Start date: Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. 

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.

To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
