Your Workplace

The psychiatric outpatient care consists of 6 clinics in the region and should, as far as possible, be seen as part of primary healthcare, thus offering care and treatment in the patient's local environment.

This means that the work should be characterized by collaboration with the patient, relatives, and other partners.

The mission of the organization is to assess, investigate, and treat patients with mental illness and mental disabilities. In addition to individual treatment work, teamwork and collaboration with municipalities and other actors in the care chain are also included.

At the psychiatric clinic in Arvika, nurses, doctors, psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, caregivers, psychotherapists, and administrative staff work. Working hours are daytime Monday to Friday.

We conduct various types of group treatments in collaboration between different professional categories, which is something we want to develop further. We have good conditions for teamwork in treatment and investigation.

We are currently undergoing a generational shift and need more colleagues whom we can offer good opportunities to receive introductions from very experienced and knowledgeable colleagues.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities as a nurse with us consist of varied general psychiatric outpatient work, such as assessment, medication administration and follow-up, telephone counseling, sampling, follow-up after inpatient care, emergency visits, and conversation and support contacts.

You will follow the patient where we strive for cohesive care and treatment with continuity in our patient contacts. Our team consists of multiple competencies. As a nurse, you work in a clinic characterized by teamwork, good communication, and high competence. We are in a development phase with, among other things, more structured diagnostics and follow-up, and we need your contribution!

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with an interest in psychiatry. Experience from psychiatric outpatient care or inpatient care is an advantage. You enjoy taking responsibility together with the rest of the team, focusing on high patient safety and quality in care.
