Senior Buyer at Jefferson Wells

About the role

As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for the entire purchasing process - from needs analysis to negotiation, contracts, and supplier follow-up. You will be an important part of an engaged team and work closely with production, technology, planning, and finance to create profitable and sustainable solutions.

Examples of tasks:

Responsible for purchasing materials, components, and services within your area of responsibility.
Negotiate and establish contracts with suppliers and ensure that terms and quality are met.
Identify and develop new suppliers and drive improvement work within the purchasing area.
Work with cost analysis, follow-up, and reporting.
Collaborate with internal functions to optimize flows and delivery reliability.

Who are you?

We are looking for a self-driven and business-oriented buyer with experience in both strategic and operational purchasing work. You have an analytical approach, are used to negotiating, and thrive in a role where you can take responsibility and build long-term relationships with both colleagues and suppliers.

We would like you to have:

At least 5 years of purchasing experience, preferably within industry or manufacturing.
Experience in supplier negotiations and contract work.
Good knowledge of business systems (e.g., SAP, IFS, or equivalent).
Post-secondary education in purchasing, economics, engineering, or equivalent experience.
Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
