At Nordic Nest Group, we are on an exciting journey to become the most beloved destination for Scandinavian design and lifestyle. We are now looking for a Category Lead Own Brands who wants to help drive the growth of our own brands – and create the future assortment for our customers.

What does the role entail? You will have overall responsibility for assigned product categories – from product selection and purchasing to ensuring that your categories meet and exceed the set goals. You will independently drive your own segment while also collaborating closely with colleagues within Own Brands and other departments.

You will be responsible for developing and growing selected product categories within our own brands, focusing on product development and sourcing. The role reports to the Head of Own Brands and involves close collaboration with our manufacturers, ensuring everything from order placement to delivery from the factory. You will work based on our assortment and category strategies and have a clear commercial responsibility to achieve set sales targets.

Your main tasks...

• Drive product development and sourcing within selected categories

• Ensure that we meet our sales and revenue targets

• Develop and implement category strategies

• Be responsible for purchasing and supplier contacts

• Ensure appropriate inventory levels and age structure

• Negotiate and manage contracts with manufacturers

• Work based on our assortment strategies and follow up on results

Who are you? We are looking for someone with strong collaboration skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine interest in product development and interior design. You are business-driven, structured, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can take on significant responsibility.

You have a good ability to work in dynamic environments with a high tempo and enjoy working cross-functionally with many contact points – both internally and externally. You are skilled at building strong and long-term relationships while driving the development of our products with passion and precision.

To succeed in this role, we see that you have...

• Experience in product development and/or product sourcing

• Solid experience in purchasing, sales, or category work, preferably within retail or e-commerce

• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

• A communicative and relationship-building personality who thrives in negotiations and collaborations

• The ability to work towards high targets in a fast-paced environment
