JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Your task with us is to provide our users with safe and good care, support in daily life, and a stimulating leisure time.

You will receive an introduction, training in general care, supervision, and training in medication and transfer techniques. Adapted data systems will be used for documentation and planning, which you will be trained in.

Residential Care for the Elderly

At our elderly care facilities, you meet people in need of care and support. Tasks performed include daily hygiene, social interaction and activities, cleaning, meal support, laundry, certain health and medical care interventions, and much more. You will also have contact with relatives and participate in social documentation.

Home Care

If you work in home care, you meet people in their homes. Here you will help users with personal care such as hygiene, meals, social activities, escorting to doctor/community visits, and certain health and medical care interventions based on the users' individual needs. Your work may also include everyday tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and shopping.

Support for People with Disabilities

Our users are people of different ages, and those you help have varying disabilities and need different levels of assistance and support in their daily lives. The work includes contacts with relatives, guardians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and schools. Usually, practical tasks such as cooking and household chores are also included. The work can sometimes be both challenging and physically demanding, requiring you to be confident in yourself.

Personal Assistance

As a personal assistant, you are a human support to the user and should create opportunities for the person to live as independently as possible. Those you help have varying disabilities and need different levels of assistance and support in their daily lives. You will participate in leisure activities, shopping trips, meals, dressing, and personal hygiene. The assignment also includes practical tasks that occur in a home, such as cooking and household chores. The work can sometimes be both challenging and physically demanding, requiring you to be confident in yourself.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is empathetic, engaged, calm, and responsible with a genuine interest in working with people.

Qualifications

To be considered for this recruitment, you need to meet the following:

• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills
• Driver's license (for home care and support for people with disabilities)
• Extract from the police's criminal record, known as control of own data
• At least 18 years old

Meritorious

It is meritorious if you have:

• Relevant education for the profession
• Relevant experience in the profession
• Experience with the target group
• Several years of work experience
