About our job opening
The pediatric and adolescent department cares for children aged 0–17 years with varying diagnoses across many specialties. We work from a holistic perspective with the child and guardians at the center. Play therapy is a natural part of our work. We place great importance on preparing the child for examinations and treatments, so that both children and guardians feel involved and in control of their situation.

We care for medical, surgical, ENT patients, and orthopedic patients. There are many professions available in the team around the child's care – doctors, pediatric nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, child nurses, psychologists, social workers, play therapists, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. As a nurse, you will provide good and safe care for our patients. You will lead and be responsible for the nursing work and often be the one who sees the individual’s entire care process.

There is an opportunity to apply for an educational position with paid specialist training in pediatrics and adolescent care after you have worked for a few years and are ready for the next step in your competence. You will receive a secure and safe introduction/shadowing tailored to your experience. We have a well-developed introduction program where you will undergo various competence certifications, including diabetes, medication management, and oncology. If you are new in your role as a nurse, you will have access to a mentor who will provide support and guidance during your first year, and you will also be offered participation in the clinical foundation year.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with a Swedish nursing license and at least four months of experience in the profession, preferably specialized in pediatric and adolescent care. We hope and believe that you are passionate about pediatric and adolescent healthcare. Mentoring and supporting patients and guardians is an important part of the job, so it is advantageous if you have experience interacting with children, adolescents, and relatives. We place great importance on personal suitability. We strive for a diverse workforce where every employee can contribute their experiences to our workplace.
