Support Educator for a full-time position at Söderby Gärde group home in Salem.

About the role  As a support educator, you will work alongside your colleagues in direct support of the users. Additionally, you will be responsible for implementing and applying Nytida's framework for pedagogy and contributing to the design of personalized pedagogy for the users. This is to support users in utilizing their cognitive and social abilities, strengthening their self-esteem, and enabling a health-promoting life by acting as a role model and motivating them towards wellness. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making the day meaningful and rich in content, performing care-related tasks, ensuring pleasant facilities, and participating in activities with the users. You will also guide and support staff in social documentation and implementation plans, mentor new employees, and collaborate with the unit/operations manager on development projects. You will report to the group manager and operations manager. Becoming a manager may also be a future career opportunity for you. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends.

About the unit Söderby Gärde is a group home where individuals with autism, autism-like conditions, or developmental disabilities reside. The home is nestled in a quiet, nature-friendly area, close to public transport, making it easy to reach.

Your experience and knowledge You are an educated support educator from a vocational college or have relevant university education. You have good computer skills, experience in documentation, and strong proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Additional requirements include experience working with the LSS target group. 

As a person, you have a positive outlook and a strong commitment to people. You are responsible, meticulous, and enjoy working in a team. You are eager to share your experiences and support colleagues in pedagogy, documentation, and interaction.
