We are now looking for a junior physician for a fixed-term employment of six months, with the possibility of extension. We are currently undertaking a special initiative to develop the working methods of the medical unit and see you as an important part of the future flow. The content of the position is shaped based on the BUP operations where you are placed, and we adapt the assignment according to your experience and development level. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to both clinical development and, if you are interested, to research projects. We have a close collaboration with the medical education at Örebro University, which creates good opportunities for teaching and academic development.

As a junior physician in our outpatient care, you will work with standard tasks such as diagnostics, investigations, and treatment - always under the supervision of an experienced senior physician. The content of the position is shaped based on the BUP operations where you are placed, and we adapt the assignment according to your experience and development level. You will be part of a cohesive medical group directly reporting to the medical chief. The work may also include placement in our inpatient department and emergency operations to handle and assess acute psychiatric conditions under supervision.

As we in Psychiatry care about our patients and value patient safety highly, we will request extracts from the suspicion and criminal records from the National Police Board in connection with the recruitment. Junior physician, before or after licensing. Medical student after semester 9 with approved courses and exams (if in the new medical program, you must have completed semester 10).
