As a strategic buyer, you will play an important role in developing and strengthening relationships with both internal and external suppliers, focusing on long-term competitiveness, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Our client is a global high-tech industrial company in strong growth, operating in advanced product development and manufacturing. Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing strategies for purchasing and supplier collaborations.
• Managing the supplier base through continuous follow-up and development.
• Negotiating and monitoring contracts to ensure competitive terms.
• Supporting development projects with commercial purchasing expertise and business acumen.
• Leading cross-functional collaborations with a focus on efficiency and cost savings.
• Handling requests for quotations, evaluating bids, and negotiating prices and terms.
• Ensuring compliance with the company's purchasing strategies, policies, and processes.

You are clear in your communication and dialogue with others, while also possessing analytical thinking and a structured approach that allows you to see connections and make fact-based decisions.

We also want you to have:

• Experience in commercial purchasing of direct materials within the industry
• Post-secondary education, preferably in engineering, economics, or a related field
• Excellent language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Good system proficiency with experience working in business systems, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or IFS, and preferably with BI systems like Power BI
