The position of business advisor is located at the customer center and business unit, which is a small unit within the community building and growth area of the municipal management. Here we work closely with entrepreneurs, residents, and colleagues to create a more welcoming, brave, close, and reliable Krokom.

The municipal management supports three committees; the Municipal Executive Board, the Building and Environmental Committee, and the Community Building Committee. The administration employs about 135 staff members and is divided into the areas of staff, building and environment, and community building and growth.

Krokom is located in the heart of Jämtland County, with proximity to both city, mountains, and the world beyond. Here, nature, entrepreneurship, and quality of life coexist. A place to live, not just to reside. We are a developing municipality with over 15,700 residents and a growing business sector. A Day as a Business Advisor

As a business advisor, you will become a key person in the municipality's work to create the best conditions for entrepreneurship and growth. You will build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs and partners, locally, regionally, and sometimes internationally, and act as the link that brings together ideas, people, and opportunities.

You will drive processes that make the business contact with the municipality simple and predictable. Through dialogue and collaboration, you will remove obstacles, open doors, and create sustainable solutions that strengthen both businesses and the municipality.

Tasks included in the position involve making business visits and providing advice that supports development in various phases. You will initiate, drive, and maintain networks that strengthen the business community. You will collaborate with business promoters such as Almi, Nyföretagarcentrum, and Region JH for clear and effective support pathways. Developing the municipality's business services, such as business guides, digital channels, and e-services, to increase accessibility and predictability is also part of the assignment.

You are expected to organize and participate in business days and other meeting places that contribute to collaboration and growth. You will be the contact person for the business development of the Green Center in Ås. Contributing to internal development processes that strengthen the municipality's service to entrepreneurs and being an active part in the development of the customer center, where business services and citizen services meet, is also included in the assignment.

Your Competence

We are looking for someone who has:

• relevant higher education in entrepreneurship, project management, community building, communication, or equivalent experience deemed relevant by the employer
• experience in advising, community development, or entrepreneurship
• good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• a B driver's license

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience in building networks and collaborating with various stakeholders in business and society
• knowledge of the public sector and municipal operations
• experience in project management or cross-border collaborations

Other Information

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date to be agreed upon.

A probationary period of up to 6 months may occur. If the employment is not terminated during the probationary period, the position will transition to permanent employment.
