As a physiotherapist, you are responsible for physiotherapeutic assessments aimed at restoring or maintaining the physical health of the elderly and preserving their functions. You are responsible for assessment, testing, prescribing, and follow-up of assistive devices, as well as training and guidance of the nursing staff regarding rehabilitative approaches, ergonomics, and transfer techniques. You are also the one who is responsible for and drives health-promoting activities for our residents and find it natural to organize activities based on your profession. 

Documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of interventions, as well as collaboration with other actors in the care chain, are part of the profession. It is a broad job with many contact points that requires independence and initiative. You will be part of the local quality council of the organization as well as the team around the elderly together with nurses, care staff, and the operations manager.

Norlandia Stora Rospiggen started in January 2023 and has 80 bright and modern apartments spread over four floors. The 5th floor has a nice gym with an adjoining office area for the rehab team. Stora Rospiggen is a Generational House that continuously collaborates with Lilla Rospiggen, our preschool operations. As a physiotherapist in elderly care, you will have the opportunity to take significant personal responsibility, which requires both professional skill, prioritization ability, and flexibility.

• We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist
• Previous experience as a physiotherapist in elderly care is highly meritorious
• You have a good command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing
• We prefer that you have knowledge of documenting based on ICF and KVÅ 
• We want you to have good knowledge of the national quality registers relevant to the operations

Employment form: permanent position with a start of probationary employment, see below

Extent: 75% with the possibility of a higher employment rate 

Start date: By agreement

Probationary employment: we apply a 6-month probationary period

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Before a possible employment, you must be able to present an extract from the criminal record. You also need to be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EES or a valid work permit.
