Lokalguiden is growing and we are now looking for our next IT star.

With us, you will be located in central Gothenburg alongside fantastic colleagues and close to shops, restaurants, and public transport.

About the position

As a developer at Lokalguiden, you play an important role in the organization where you create user-friendly and high-quality code to help take the company to the next level, together with your colleagues in IT and the rest of the company. In an innovative work environment, you will, for example, during a day:

- Work with PHP (8+), Symfony, React, TypeScript, MySQL, and AWS

- Further develop Lokalguiden's marketplace

- Be involved in Lokalguiden's future development

When you are not working, you can play table tennis or darts with your colleagues or just relax on a comfortable sofa. If it's spring or summer, you can enjoy the rooftop terrace. If you have errands to run, it takes no more than a few minutes since all the shops are nearby, you don't even need to put on outerwear. On Mondays, we start the week with a communal breakfast.

About you

The position suits you who have a drive to develop and who thrives with freedom under responsibility. It is important that you are proactive, take initiative, and have the ability to see the various challenges of the business and how IT can help solve them.

Collaborating with colleagues is a given for you, while you also need to be confident and comfortable working independently and developing in our IT environment and our systems.

You need

- To have good knowledge of PHP and/or TypeScript/React

- To have good knowledge of MySQL

- To have experience working with cloud services

- To speak and write Swedish and English fluently

It is also meritorious, but not a requirement, to have experience with:

- Symfony, Laravel, or similar frameworks

- Automated testing, CI/CD

- AWS, Docker

- Google Analytics, Tag Manager, outcome measurement
