Job Description

Randstad Digital is currently looking for a systems engineer in IT infrastructure with experience in both Linux and Windows. You will be part of an agile infrastructure team that builds and maintains networks, firewalls, storage, virtualization, and databases, all with a strong focus on capacity and security. You will work closely with your team based in Gothenburg and other locations, but also have interfaces with other teams and stakeholders throughout the organization.

We are looking for a consultant for a long-term assignment.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible, together with your team, for developing and maintaining platforms for development environments. Your responsibilities primarily lie within firewalls, storage, virtualization, and databases.

Working with security is the common thread in this role.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, we believe you have a relevant education focused on IT and at least three years of experience as an infrastructure technician. You have previously worked with IT systems with high security requirements.

As a person, you are unpretentious, ambitious, and driven by problem-solving. Your work is characterized by service, and you enjoy creating the best possible conditions for your colleagues. You are also curious and willing to pitch in where needed. You see documentation as a natural part of the job.

You need to have the following technical skills:

 Deep knowledge of Linux and Windows

 Good understanding of Powershell and Python

 Knowledge of networks, network components, and network infrastructure

 Storage solutions and management of hardware components

 Good understanding of AD management

This role requires fluent Swedish in both spoken and written form, as well as an approved security clearance that will be conducted before the position is filled.
