About the Position

We are looking for a driven and experienced schedule planner for a consulting assignment in collaboration with the Swedish Transport Administration within the framework of Program Gävle-Kringlan. The program is in the planning stage and includes three ongoing railway plans and one road plan. You will be part of an important initiative that ensures effective and structured project deliveries at various stages.

As a schedule planner, you will work in the Swedish Transport Administration's staff organization and closely collaborate with staff managers, schedule planners, and project organizations. The assignment requires a workload of 50–90%, with physical work on-site in Gävle 2–3 days a week depending on the workload.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Develop, quality assure, and follow up on the program's WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and schedule.
  • Create standard schedules, instructions, and working methods.
  • Support and follow up on project organizations in their work with scheduling and WBS.
  • Transfer knowledge and working methods to the Swedish Transport Administration's employees.
  • Adapt tasks in dialogue with program management based on the program's needs.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Degree from a technical university or equivalent as assessed by the Swedish Transport Administration.
  • At least 3 years of documented experience in scheduling as a full-time position.
  • Documented experience in creating schedules in programs such as Microsoft Project or Powerproject.
  • Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
  • Good ability to manage and structure large amounts of complex information.

Workplace and Remote Work Opportunities:

The assignment requires presence at the Swedish Transport Administration's office/project office in Gävle. Remote work is possible outside of the mandatory office days (2 days/week at 50–70% workload and 3 days/week at 70–90% workload).
