Särnmark is one of Sweden's oldest companies in personal assistance, founded by the current owner in the early 1990s. We work based on a clear and stated value foundation, and our main driving force is to create the best conditions for individualized personal assistance based on each person's unique needs. Särnmark currently has over 3500 employees, and our customers and staff are located all over Sweden. Särnmark's headquarters is in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.

About Charlie

Charlie is 1.5 years old – small in stature but with a great need for help. Despite a tough start in life, he touches the hearts of everyone around him – a fighter with a quiet strength that captivates the hearts of all who get to know him. He has a neurological diagnosis, needs support with everything in daily life, and requires extensive supervision around the clock. He communicates in his own little, cautious way – therefore, you as an assistant need to be attentive, observant, and able to read small signals.

With Charlie, it’s not about words or speed, but about presence, care, and the small moments that mean everything – holding hands, going for a walk, reading a book, singing a song, and simply being there together. Your work may not always be rewarded with words or smiles – but in the little things, in the calm, and in the bond that grows, everything is found.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who has experience with children with special needs – perhaps you are a trained nursing assistant, preschool teacher, have worked within LSS, or in another way have gained knowledge, patience, and a caring embrace. You need to be attentive, warm, empathetic, and ready to become an important part of a small child's big world.

With us, you are never alone – we have collective agreements and offer ongoing training, supervision, and strong support in your work with Charlie.

You will work in the family's safe and welcoming home, where the working environment is good and pleasant. The workplace is easily accessible with good transportation, so a driver's license is not a requirement.

We expect you to master Swedish in both spoken and written form, as documentation occurs daily and there is also contact with authorities and healthcare.

Additional information

In your application, you should state your citizenship. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, the EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must be able to prove that you have a permanent residence permit in Sweden to be able to be employed by Särnmark.
